Your skin reflects everything, from stress to digestion, emotional balance and good nutrition. While we can't influence all of the above, we certainly can feed our skin what it needs to have a beautiful healthy glow. In addition to feeding your skin with our 5 product 4 step twice daily skin care regimen, here is an easy-to-follow recipe for daily internal skin care - and overall health:

Essential fatty acids (omega oils, linoleic and linolenic acids) moisturize your skin. Greens alkalize, mineralize, cleanse and supply protein to build and repair tissue. Vitamin A stimulates skin cell growth and Vitamin C tightens the fibers in your skin. Besides applying them to the outside via our Skin Nutrients and Pure Hydration serums, take them internally for all their rejuvenating health & beauty benefits. 

There is no need to run to the supplement aisle during your next visit to the health food store: Vitamin A is found in orange colored fruits and veggies; 1/2 carrot has all the vitamin A you need per day! Kiwi fruits contain more vitamin C and less sugar than oranges. Get your healthy glow on with this daily skin smoothing smoothie:

Ingredients:

1 Kiwi

1/2 Avocado

1/2 cup Blueberries

1/2 Carrot

4-6 Walnuts or Almonds or Cashews

1 Tbsp Powdered Greens (a blend that includes probiotics is even better for your skin)

1 Tbsp Omega's (Udo's Choice Perfected Oil Blend by Flora is vegan and delicious)

Add-ons for more health benefits and extra flavor:

1-2 inch piece of fresh, peeled Turmeric or a Tbsp of Turmeric Powder for additional anti-inflammatory properties

1 stick of cinnamon or a Tbsp of Cinnamon Powder to balance blood sugar

1/4 - 1/2 Tsp of Cayenne for increased circulation and to stimulate digestion

1/2 - 1 Beet or Beet Juice to lower blood pressure

1 Stalk Celery to reduce water retention

To Prepare:

Wash, clean & peel everything, cut in small pieces, place in a blender, add some ice, fill up with Coconut Water or Almond Milk, blend until smooth and enjoy.
